NYC: Here & There

    D300 at ISO 200 or 320.

  8. Dez - born and bred NY'er here and I just love the shot of the Grace building. If one did not know that the building actually has that curve to it, one might figure you were screwing around with line bending in PS.

    I assume you know that 9 West 59th is the sister building (same architect - Skidmore, Owens & Merrill) to the Grace buidling. Same unmistakeable sweeping front.

    Two of my favorite pieces of modern NYC architecture.
  9. Hey Rick. Yes, the Grace Building has that curve naturally on the South face of that building. The building that you mentioned at 9 West 57th Street is called the Solow Building:

  10. Nice shots.... the last one is very nice comp. As nice as the photo of the street with the Manhattan bridge tower view is... I still like your mid-air shot much better! :)

  14. Great series Dez...especially like the TickTock diner...is that a new one for your collection...also like Pershing Square. Been away for a bit ,work and life have been getting in the way of my shooting. :frown:
