nice shooting, fred
i like the deep blue sky/polarized effect
thanks for shraring
Nice work, I too like the deep skies.
However, for those of us who haven't been lucky enough to take a trip to NYC it might be nice to know what these buildings are called... apart from the really obvious landmarks I must confess I know nothing about these buildings.

Thanks for the update, when I realised they weren't the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty I have to say I was a bit confused...
Not just any court house, that's 60 Centre St., NYS Supreme Court. Lots of famous scenes in movies and TV shows have been filmed there, including the shooting of Don Barzini by Al Neri at the end of Godfather I. They hold trials inside too:smile: Nice shots.
Thanks Robert!
The old police station, Gracie Mansion (Mayoral house), Court House, and Federal Hall (where Washington was sworn in).
Fred
Slight correction: #2 is City Hall, not Gracie Mansion. Nice shots, glad you liked my city!
Nice captures of the landmarks. Some other awesome buildings you might consider capture would be the US Post Office (by 33th Street and 8th Ave), the Public Library (on 42nd St. and 5th Ave.), Grand Central Terminal (near 41st St. and Madison Ave.), the you have the museums (American Museum of Natural History (on Central Park West and W 78th St.), Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art (on 5th Ave. and 79th St.). If you're visiting Manhattan or out of town, I highly recommend picking up a New York Popout Map.......it's very compact and identifies various landmarks, points of interest, etc., well worth the $6.00!!!! It even has a subway map, but you can get a free subway map from the subway clerk in the booth.
I have no idea what those are, but I like em.
