Recently I have been taking a lot of simple panoramic images of NYC.
By using a 35-70 or a medium telephoto, I am able to produce images
with a wide view without the distortions one would see when using a wide angle lens.

    Financial District & Brooklyn Bridge - nikkor 35-70 : 4 image panorama
    original.

Sunset on Manhattan - nikkor 180mm : 6 image panorama

    Midtown Manhattan - nikkor 180mm : 5 image panorama

    Brooklyn Bridge - nikkor 35-70 : 3 image panorama

    Hi Cabin, Harry and Hans

Thanks for the comments. I had a very fun day treking around the brooklyn bridge.

For these panoramas I used realviz stitcher. A very nice and powerful program but also overpriced.
