I picked up a LNIB Nikon 14-24 2.8 lens. Went out the other night to try it out. Can't wait for this heat to die down so I can get out and about for a few hours to really try it out. Hope ya like em.

Whoaaaa - nice!!!
Awesome shots. Both are great; however, I'm leaning towards #1.
Thanks a lot. Here's another one from the same night. I like the colors I achieved on these using LR5.

Very nice Joe. That lens is a beauty and you picked one of the great spots here to try it out. I hope you get a lot of good use from it.

Thanks a lot Larry. I'm hoping for a NY Cafe get together soon. Hehe.

very good images. May I ask what was the setting? f8 and 15 seconds?
Thanks David. I shot these at f11 and f22 @ 30 seconds. I think the SS might've been too long. There was a LOT of people walking around and there was a LOT of give in the wood planking. I felt EVERY STEP that everyone around me was taking.

Great captures Joe. I just sold my tokina 12-24 and regret it.
Im currently in a search for a replacement wide angle zoom to make me happy again.

Thanks Tom. I was never an UWA lens guy. I got this for shooting large indoor groups and concerts. Once it cools off I plan on getting out and shooting more landscapes.
