1) Low flying oystercatcher. Bringing home something to eat for the kiddos.

2) Australasian gannet.

3) Black backed gull.

4) Sacred Kingfisher. Odd catching is sitting on a flax bloom but the best I could do.

7) Some version of petrel. There are dozens. I looked it up once but forget which it is.

Thanks, Louie. The kingfishers down there are just as yard to get close to as the ones over here.
Great variety and well photographed! #1, 4 and 9 are my favs - but they are all nice!

Wow to #2 and #5, Dan.
In #2 I like the contrast of the water color to the colors of the bird a lot.

Lovely set Dan. #4 and #9 are my favs. Have you tried cropping #4 from the LHS to eliminate the dark area? A square frame would look good too.
