Slick visuals, but the story is a mess. The time that I should have spent enjoying the ride was wasted, racing my mind over previous dialogue playing catch up with the gaping holes in the plot. Tom Cruise dominates with his square jaw stares and determination.

I saw it Friday night, didn't have any trouble following it and did figure it out before what was happening was revealed... it wasn't great though. If you plan on seeing it plan on renting it instead of going to the theater.

Saw it last Friday. Seemed like a poorly thought through obvious story using old Star Wars props. Well maybe that was just me.

Do all Tom Cruise action movies have to have him dangling from a rope now?

Boy you guys are hard to please! I really liked it. The visuals were amazing. The house, the vehicle, the story, the plot twists I liked it all. A fun ride. Not hard to follow at all.

I like it... the plot is slightly twisted, but I can understand it (I think)
Kinda predictable though....
The visual is great...love the house, love the plane..
maybe there are some gaps in the plot, but I wouldn't know.... because there's Olga !!!

Oh yeah Olga! Can you tell me why she had to get all gussied up and in high heels before she could step up to the mission control console?

Compared to Promethius, I guess it wasn't so bad. I saw the wheels on Promethius falling off and sure enough the ending was a complete train wreck that even a porn director would be ashamed of.

Because it's a movie
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when my wife dragged me to the theater. I didn't even know Olga was in that movie.
I did wonder about the drones... how can it fly efficiently without wings, etc.
But I was there to enjoy a day without kids, so I decided to put my mind on neutral and just watch the movie.
