Ocktoberfest '08 - danny_eva_01 - Prime Player - 50/1.8

Discussion in 'Photo Meme' started by danny_eva_01, Sep 28, 2008.

  1. This should be fun. :D

I'll be using my 50mm f/1.8. I may be adding another prime soon, but until then I'll just leave it at one.

    Bolt-on:
I'll also try to shoot at least five shots a week, but will try for everyday. Also adding no matrix metering, and manual exposure only.

I hope I learn a lot from this along with everyone else.

Looks like this event is over! Couldn't shoot the last couple weeks, but this was fun!

  4. Ah yes, been there, done that. In fact, I did it this morning emptying the tarps over the kennel runs.

  5. That's a lot of water!

Good job freezing the water. I hate it when that happens - Ever have one leak inside? Not fun. LOL.

  7. Great timing.

  8. Beautifully captured shot, Dan. An excellent #1.

I have been having trouble getting internet.
Will post the others from before later. I will also post info about above pictures as well.

Thanks, everyone! I'll be sure to post in everyones thread once I get internet in my home.

Sorry, but I don’t like these. To unsharp/artistic for me

  13. My only constructive criticism is to please make them bigger next time. These are fantastic! The first and last are very creative. I love the simplicity of the green beans.

  14. I checked the (two at the time) shots after Fredrik, and felt the same. However, of the new addition, esp. #1 looks great. Would like to see it larger though.

These new photos are much better! Especially number one and three.

  16. I love the green beans.

And I'll echo the request for larger images.

  17. Yup- in this situation, bigger is better! I like your green beans, the subway and ribbons too. Would love to see more

Do you think this shot would have been better shot at a smaller aperture?

I'll be sure to add larger pictures in the future. Thanks.
