  1. I was at a festival all last week and during an opening ceremony of one of the events I was able to take this. He was a spot and had to crop which distorts the edges but I wanted to share.

    Wow, that's great!
  3. Hi Leigh, It was great to see in person. Thanks for the comment.
  4. that is an excellent and I would think very sellable shot. Good job!
  5. Thanks Dave. I wish it didn't have the wave around the edges that's displayed on the forum. I don't see the waves when I see it on my Photo Shop screen. I got a couple more shots as he decended but I like this one best.

    That is one great image.......
  7. Thank you very much Gale. I think it was a great show for all that got to see the man come down and hit his spot.

It's a great shot-- don't worry about the "waves"-- it's most likely either a JPeG artifact, or caused by resizing.

  9. Thanks Rober, I haven't printed it yet maybe it will be okay.
  10. Simple shot, but I really like it! Colors just pop and I dig the composition! Good job!
  11. Thank you Jonathan, I appreciate your comment.
  12. Did he manage to fold up the flag before it hit the ground?

Hi U.F. there was about a dozen men on the ground to catch the flag before it hit the ground. It was a fantastic sight to see. He landed in the middle of a Rodeo arena. I got a few shots but I think this was the one I liked best.

    Great capture. love the croping.
  15. Thank you Tim. I was able to get few shots but the flag was not horizontal like this one is. Glad you liked it.
  16. Good capture Pete. The colors are vivid and the composition great.
  17. Many thanks Gordon. They are fantastic subjects and the colors make a person feel warm.
