    Tim,

You are a quick learner. 8)

If it were me, I'd back off of the USM just a teeny tad. Still excellent shots.

    This is fun, huh?

    Tim,

When I said teeny tad, I meant just that. This isn't overly done at all. My personal preference is to go just a little under rather than a little over. Makes an excellent shot even more impressive IMHO.

  6. Excellent Tim, I think you were going through the normal frustration we all go through when we first start macro, the low keeper ratio isn't all that high.

  7. You've done well Tim!

I like the gold too, worth your weight in gold as they say...

Tim looks like you are learning quickly. "Can I help you?" I like the pattern that shows in the eyes.

"sprays of gold" know its a plant but looks like a wiring job gone bad.

    Nice shots.

  9. Both excellent shots Tim. The first one is definitely contest material.

    Tim,

I really like "Can I help you ?", especially the pattern in the eyes. I am allergic to bees, wasps and such, so that is about as close as I want one!

  11. Great shots Tim. I like both of them.
