OK, my Tern (sic).

Captured these guys in Door County Wisconsin today on the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula near Sturgeon Bay. D3_400mm f/2.8 VR_TC-17E II.

I apologize in advance for what may be lousy PP, but I'm doing this on a cheap laptop while still on vacation and the lcd on this thing is scary..

I noticed that a few seconds after plunging into the water to catch a fish, they'd do sort of a shake, rattle, and roll to rid themselves of the extra water from the dive. Got lucky with this one, note the band on his leg.

Thanks Alex. My bird software says common tern, but it also resembles Forster's tern. They're fun to watch whoever they may be.
