OK, who can identify this bugger?

    I got it from a greenhouse on Mars.

  2. it is a type of thistle. Thistles can be verry pretty in bloom.

    Nope. Hint--that "flower" is about 10 inches long.

    It is a Bear's Breech. Very unique, but requires a LOT of water.
