Just awaiting the arrival of the lens...
My backup: 35mm f/2 on my Konica Hexar AF Black.
Finally got the lens in last week and got to shoot a bit with it. I'm only going to be shooting Tri-X with it for this month.
Here's a bathroom mirror shot:

A regular in Downtown Toronto, he's dressed up everytime I see him and with a cane. A real modern day pimp perhaps.

excellent series of shots. Love the detail sharpness and contrasts...enjoyed viewing each and everyone of these.
Your self-portrait is great! Very sharp and nice grain!
Very nice. I can see that you are going to love this lens.
oooh, I LOVE this series of shots!
I like the "pimp" a lot.
Churchianity? What the hell is Churchianity? My spell checker certainly has no idea!
Thank you for the tour of your city. Interesting pics. Yes, what is Churchianity anyway?
I like your mirror shot. Can't figure out how you did that one. I also like the pimp shot. He sure stands out!
First two are my favs.
"Fresh" air is really nice.
My first night on call. Luckily I didn't get paged after I went to sleep.
The rest here are taken with the 35mm pre-ASPH Summilux:

A cowboy or a bandit waiting in line at a bank. Clearly he is not a master of the quick withdrawal.

More to come later...
These have a nice soft glow to them, what film did you use and is there a special processing you did to acheive it?
Tim, the film was Tri-X, souped in Diafine 3+3. The glow is the "Leica glow", which really is just out-of-focus softness that can be seen with the Nikkor 50/1.2 as well.
I love these.
My faves are the one of your girlfriend and the one from Chapters.
Is it just me, or does your stethoscope have the L from Leica on it?
I agree with Rebecca, really like the one with your gf and from Chapters. I also like the one of your father - you two look very alike.
Taylor - I love the look of your photos. It has been YEARS since I shot with Tri-X. You are doing a great job with it. I especially like the picture of your father. Its so natural.
Thanks all, my stethoscope is by Littmann, hence the "L".
My father again.

Thanks for joining us and an even bigger thank you for making the effort to shoot, develop, scan and share. I love your shots and this thread might push me to get another film body and shoot some more b+w.
My favorite shot is the last of your GM smiling. Very nice.
homemade steam buns? i am so jealous.
