No idea what this is - it's lost in the mists of time. I took the picture about 25 years ago, but just developed it this week. It's the only image on a 20 exposure roll of plus-x.

    Strange.

  2. You sure that isn't supposed to be portrait?

Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair!

Interesting shot Chris, I guess after all this time you'll never know what exactly it was that you were trying to shoot.

I can't say I blame you, my fridge is slowly filling up with exposed rolls of film from only a couple of weeks ago and I must admit I've allready forgotton what exactly is on them.

  11. Nah! It looks like a sunrise on an army training ground!

Tank tracks is what I immediately thought.

But the tower idea seems to look right, too.

BTW, I actually like to forget exposed film a couple of years prior to developing. Makes the surprise about the resulting images even greater, 'cause usually I wait until I completely forgot what's on the film. Never managed to forget a film for 25 years though, that seems to be a record!

  13. Maybe a chain saw.

So now I am thinking that it is Rapunzel after all! I was pointed to this picture, which maps quite well.
