The walled city of Old Quebec makes one feel like they're in the 16th century. The buildings exteriors have not and cannot change due to strict zoning. Castles and horse drawn carriages overlooking the St. Lawrence River make for some wonderful pictures.

If you have any pictures, feel free to add them to this thread.

Nice picture Lee

Love the composition and subject matter.

Quebec city is truly unique with its original cobble stones from ship ballast - a scene of the Movie "Catch me if you can" was filmed there - Old Quebec City posing as a small French town. Many movies scenes are filmed there.

It is a very nice place to spend a weekend and in the fall you can go outside the city and appreciate the fall foliage in the surrounding area. I would love to see more pictures of Quebec.

Next to Paris, Quebec City is my favourite city. The atmosphere is indescribable.

As Dude mentions, the composition is great - it shows the flavour of the area. Your HDR is good without going over the top.

Appropriate enough because it was 5 May and the temperatures were in the low 40's f. We bought summer jackets. Brrrrrrrr!

It's Quebec City's 400th Anniversary this year. It's absolutely beautiful there. I was there 2 weekends ago but didn't go into the old city though.

Thank you Rich, Pierre and Garrie for the additional Quebec pictures, the last time I was there I was still shooting film. All of these images bring back memories.
