I had a blast this past weekend . saw in the paper that the flying circus was putting on a show at this little grass airfield in the country.

I love this era of planes ,and they had the music from the era playing on the radio. It was a like a walk back in time , even though it was before my time , I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very romantic era.

Reminds me of when I learned to fly.

Piper J 3 with a Franklin 45 hp engine.
Later with a 65 hp engine equipped with ski's.
And cranking the engine from behind the prop.

Flying time was $ 3.00 per hour and with an instructor $ 8.00 per hour.

Nice capture, the third airplane has that nice look with the wheels covers. It should be quite a lot of experience to leave the ground with those big double wings airplane, they don't seem to see to much in front of them before de back lift up from the ground.
