  1. Hi,

Some images of the Olympic stadium - Berlin - Germany.

The Olympic stadium was constructed from 1935–36 to plans by the architect Werner March as the central building of the Reich sports field for the 1936 Olympic Games.

The site's conception is characteristic of the monumentalist architecture of the Third Reich, and the Olympic Stadium remains typical of this style.

In 2006, the stadium hosted the final match of FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 between France and Italy.

Nice b/w shots in keeping with the architecture.
Irrespective of the politics behind the design it is part of Europes history and worthy of preservation.
    Best regards
