For those of you that saw my post on the Racoon while sitting in my patio in the back yard a couple days ago I was able to get another surprise the following day. Again just relaxing as the sun was going down I heard the flaping of wings and to my surprise this is what I was able to see happen right in front of me about 30 feet away. Not sure what the raptor is, can someone let me know.

If I may make a suggestion - how about getting yourself a good bird book if you're gonna be serious about shooting birds? These photos were incredible! I personally like the Kaufman Field Guide to Birds of North America. There's tons of books out there!

Hi again Dianne, I have a few Bird books and a few Hawks look alike so It was difficult for me to really know which hawk it was that I able to photograph. It happend so fast. But you are right about bird books.
