99.9% of my 'work' are events. These consist of various amateur/semi-pro sports and stage performances.
But every once in a while, friends ask me to shoot them - so of course, these types of shoots don't normally fall into my comfort zone - but each one is a learning experience.

I hope this one passes the 'Cafe' Test'.......:wideyed:

It's always brave to shoot beyond one's comfort zone. Good for you for doing that.

Try brightening the subject and her shadow to determine if you like the results. If you do, subtle use of flash next time would also be worth trying.

Actually, I was trying for a full silhouette - so probably too bright of a subject then?
