Very very cool, what a fantastic series of images with narration. I am so sad that we could not attend and these wonderful images make the pain hurt even more. I'm so glad that you all had a good time together, what a great community we share.

Dude -

I sense some sort of Arthurian thing going on here with the helmet.

Maybe it wasn't detailed by either Thomas Malory or T. H. White, but it might be that he or she who "rightwise" could don the Helmet of Phil, would be fated to be the next "ruler of the realm" (in Phil's absence, of course - lol!)

My cursory examination suggests that either Connie or Dave D. could "assume the mantle" . . . .

Just one person's opinion - thanks for these fun shots.

Eric

I am more impressed with the dollars in all those tripods even over the dollars spent on glass and bodies! OMG!

Looks like everyone had a good time!

Dude, how do you come up with this stuff? :866: right, the D3 firmware...

Phil, it's pretty obvious that you were missed. :112:

Looks like this is one of the events that I should aim for in the future.

He probably thought...

"What are you guys still doing here...?" Remember at the end of the credits, and he probably thought he got away with it  No such luck

...I think I have to make the trip next year.
Ya think!?! Do you have any idea how much work it is to get everyone to wear the hat and smile!?! I had to risk breaking a leg and/or a hip climbing down to the edged of the river where Frank was located in order to get him to pose for the "Phil shot" I even had to fight a dangerous fish with teeth to get to him, I kid you not Phil - a rather larger fish and I am sure one of the photographer present caught that one on "film" unless they were too busy taking pictures of each other at the time  A real bunch of clowns I am telling ya!!:biggrin:

I am not going through that again next year, I'd rather be there and just sit around and take pictures of other people with cameras - wait for the birds (we probably missed the best shots while we were telling each other funny jokes and making funny faces for the cameras... but that's another story...):biggrin::biggrin:

On a side note we almost lost a member of the group this morning...

This was an awesome thread...I am still laughing and though we missed out coming over for the Dam shoot, it was probably a good thing as I would have never gotten the Darth Helmet over my Big Head !

Dude, you are one funny guy. You and Frits make a good team!

Thanks so much for your time and your hard work plus tons of laughs!

Regards...Jim
