One Great Trip Whales!

    Last Tues, I blew off work and went whale watching. What day! I finally broke the grey skies curse, it was clear and sunny the entire trip. The Captain did a great job of placing the boat so we weren't shooting into the glare. The Humpbacks were in rare form, Kilter, an adult male, was breaching and flipper slapping repeatedly and we had a trio approach the side of the boat to check us out (gives a different twist to "whale watch"!!)

    Like the Energizer bunny, this guy just keeps going and going....

    End of a breach is always a big splash, the sound can be heard for miles.

    Just before the splash, this looks soft like cotton and oh, so comfortable!
