    Yes it is a very nice lens. The colors in this pic...are vibrant.

  3. Hi Dennis, nice shot. Your daughter has pretty eyes. You might want to consider burning in the legs a little bit so they are not quite so prominent in the image. The B&W conversion is nice.

    Beautiful photo Dennis. The colors in number 1 are stunning - IMO the BW does not compare. Very nice work!

    yes, my 50mm f1.8 is my fave too! price is not too shabby for a great lens.

    I've borrowed the 50mm 1.8 and loved it but I'm wondering if the 1.4 is worth the extra $. Anyone care to comment that's had both?

    This might be more appropriate in the lens lust category, but no sense in starting another thread, right? :smile:
