Whenever I get a new camera body, I almost always convert the old body to IR. This time around I opted to do a hyperspectral conversion so I can still use the camera for visible light shots, I can do the IR shots, and, with the proper lenses, I can do UV as well. I finally had a chance to take it out for a spin and do some IR shooting. I also did some regular old photography with the new body as well. It was a quick trip out to Gates Pass dodging occasional rain showers. It was actually pretty dramatic.

Thanks for the comments. The light you can capture with IR is so interesting. I'm glad you liked the photos.

Excellent images (y) ......I had not considered converting an old body to IR, but there is a D700 I might just put to new use.
