Opinion of the D5200?

I've had this camera for some years. I really like it but "some years" can equate to generations in the tech world. Is this still a good camera? Is there an alternative at this level that you may recommend without going broke? There's nothing wrong with my D5200, just curious what experienced people might think.

It is a good camera, the new stuff has some nice extra features. For me new cameras have always only gave me cleaner less noisy night photos but as far as day time its always been about the lens you use, and just knowing how to shoot.
