This guy and his buddies were taking advantage of some uneaten dog food. This was taken 2 weeks ago at Taylor Park, Colorado. I'm still looking through my field guide, but if anyone can help me with identification, I'd appreciate it. My initial guess is a type of thrasher.

Never seen that bird but take a look at "clark`s nutcracker". Book puts it in your area and says 12'' long.

That looks exactly like it. I looked up Clark's Nutcracker on youtube, too. It's the same sound. They're pretty noisy, too. Thanks for the help, Robert.
