Personally, I don't find this funny at all. It's happened to me. Maybe that was me.
If it ever happens to me (it hasn't so far), I'm confident that I would find it funny.

Do you even wear suspenders? I'm so old that I have to.
I used to wear suspenders for fashion reasons. Not since then.
I never knew that suspenders has anything to do with age of the person wearing them.
Age and body shape. Let's just leave it at that. But many of my coeval friends -- now in their mid-seventies -- have, like me, taken to wearing suspenders for comfort and convenience, rather than fashion.
I'm all for comfort and convenience no matter the age or any other characteristic of the person!
I must have skipped this thread of yours Mike. I like the composition very much.
