Orca Offshore Iceland

  1. On our last evening on the ship, the Captain's Farewell Cocktails were delayed by a pod of Orca as we sailed from Surtsey to Reykjavik, Iceland.

There were at least two males with the tall dorsal fins, several females, and at least one baby. The group seemed to be feeding on something just below the surface. There were lots of turns and lunges going on.

No one seemed to mind the interuption :wink: It sure was a nice way to end the voyage.

Great pictures and a great trip. I dream of doing that one day.

  4. Wow! I bet that excitement made those cocktails taste wonderful  Thank you for sharing these - and all the other photos from your trip of course.
