Well, I can show an orchid, but you will have to imagine the fun I had with Randy Forshey at his home shooting white and pink orchids, and Easter lillies, followed by a great dinner later with John P. (PJohnP) and Philippe Roger.

Randy set up quite an array of flashes, and Alien Bee, soft box, and black velvet!

I do have quite a few shots to go through of each type of flowers, but here is one shot of the white orchids...... (from the JPG of a NEF+JPG shot....I'll process the RAW half and post it later for comparison.....after I get my beauty sleep).

    Thanks Randy, Sandy and Gale!

  6. Beautiful pic of a beautiful orchid.
I bought my wife an orchid for Valentine's day but it didn't survive very long. Usually she has a good hand for plants, esp. cacti, but orchids are a different story.

    Cheers

    Thank you Harry!

I brought home one of the orchid plants we were using in our shoot.....
my wife said that she has never been able to keep orchids alive....
but she'll try again with this one!
