Osprey over New Jersey (6 large images)

    These shots were taken while trying to shoot the first small wavelet of migrating "peeps" on a Jersey beach. Handheld, D2x with 300/2.8VR and TC-20. This bird was way up and out and, even with an effective (35mm) focal length of 900mm, these shots are heavily cropped and show it if you look carefully. Of course, looking that carefully is highly discouraged! :wink: :wink: :wink:

    I hear what you are saying about the heavy crop Gordon, but considering that, these are very good captures. We've all been there. Nicely processed as well. :smile:
