    wow Wonderful images
  5. Nice Louie!

  6. They are great shots Louie. Bitingly sharp and lots of nice fluffy feather detail. They deserve to get framed. No.1 is may favourite. What lens did you use for these ?

Great stuff Louie. Really like the one with where the osprey is carrying the load of grass - the background adds a nice touch to the shot.
  8. Thanks David. They've kind of hit a dead zone for the next little while, before the eggs hatch.

  9. Darn...but these are soooo good!!! Love the nest building!
  10. Sweet series Louie. "osprey osprey osprey osprey" *-)

    That 3rd shot is sensational
  16. Thanks Steve, I appreciate your commenting. I used a D2X and a 500mm lens.

  17. Thanks Hunter.

  18. Thanks Bob. Now we can't wait until the chicks arrive.

  19. Hey Mike, how is it? Thanks for taking a look.

  20. It's good. I like your shots. If you mean..."my" osprey. Well ...let's just say the chicks..well..they are fledglings and have been flying for the last week. Shot 4 gigs yesterday in the smoke from the brush fires. Interesting high key flight shots. Some amazing landing poses in crummy light. What I wouldn't give for a reshoot in sweet light and no smoke. My poor eyes though. Might actually get to processing some of these soon.

    Keep 'em coming Louie.
