3 shots about 2 seconds elapsed total (not a burst)
The kid in red should have been sent off after the first offense - dangerous high kicking and a hand ball as well!
Maybe the ref was looking through a viewfinder as well....
oh my, randy
that is one awesome "catch"
i hope that BOTH parents know how to get in touch with you
I handed out alot of cards at this tournament and based on the hits on the galleries I have up they have found the pics....
I shot 5 games and I have 1 more to PP.....tg for lightroom or I would never catch up, I did 700 pics (from 1 game) this morning in 2 hours (kept 450)
Ouch.....tha's gonna leave a mark! Good catch Randy.
boy, thats got to be the best boot on face shot i've seen at this level
It looks as if the poor kid that got kicked in the face is also playing with a cast or some kind of brace on his right arm.
He reminds me of my sons at that age with his red hair. Hope he was ok Randy.
Superb timing on both the 'ouches' Randy. Razor sharp and great colors too.
Nice capture--- Hope he got a Red card
ouch indeed, i played as a kid took a set of cleats to the hand as a goalie and i can tell you that is def gonna leave a mark on both accounts.
and yes i hope he did get carded for both of those.
Awesome catch Randy. Hope there was a penalty on that one. Although most likely not.
Are these two from the same series (foot going down hit twice) or two seperate incidents?
Oh dang! yikes.
Looks like it's from the same event. Second shot is as the foot is coming down, hitting the kid's arm, which looks to be in some sort of cast or brace. As far as red carding the kid, that's probably a bit excessive. Kids at this age don't have the control older kids or adults have when it comes to how high they kick. The kid probably focused on the ball, and just tried to kick it at the same time the other player was trying to head the ball (which hit the kicker's arm afterward). Yeah, he should have been coached on the incident with a yellow card, but I think a red card right off the bat would have been excessive IMHO.
Great series Randy.
he was OK
less than a second apart buu not a burst
whew, great capture Randy...
Wow, that must have hurt! great shot
Great stuff randy ... !
