Some of you may remember the orphaned kitten that my wife and I took in several months ago, we fed her with an eye dropper the first week we had her because she was to small (less than 5 oz.) to take a bottle. I thought I would share some pics on how fast she is growing.

This was taken in Sept. about a week or so after we took her in;

This shot was taken in December before Christmas, like most cats she loves playing in a box;

This shot was taken a few days ago, I was playing around with the new D-80 using the SB-800. The room was really dark and I was bouncing the flash off the ceiling, bit it still came out fair.

Thanks for the replies everyone.... I am sure there will be more shots to come in the future. I'll try to get some shots of her with our other cat, he weighs in at about 19 pounds and helps us keep her in line sometimes, but he's such a big baby and she just pushes him around.

She's daddy's little girl and is usually sitting on my lap while I am reading the forums at night.

Thanks again;

A cat's diary

Day 183 of my captivity. My captors continued to taunt me with bizarre
little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am
forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope
of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from clawing the furniture.
Today my attempt to kill my Captors by weaving around their feet while
they were walking almost succeeded -must try this at the top of the
stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once gain
induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair - must try this on their
bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body in an attempt to
make them aware of what I am capable of. They only cooed and condescended
about what a good little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The
dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is
obviously a half-wit. The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an
informant and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my
every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is
assured. But I can wait; it is only a matter of time
