My daughter gave birth to a beautiful little boy this evening. The labor and delivery didn't quite go as planned, so a C-section was his method of coming into the world. But all are well and happy. A special thanks to all who helped me with my lens choices for the big occasion. The 35 f2 was a fabulous choice to go with my new D300. I was able to get available light photos, which turned out to be great. I also used my 85 f1.4 and 17-55 and flash. Here is little Jade David. I'll keep his last name anonymous for safety reasons. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. and is 21 inches long. They check out the baby together. I shot this through a window.
