Outdoor lighting learning.

  1. OK, brand new member here.
    Yesterday I shot some casual shots for my 8th grade daughter's class.

    Sometimes I like what I get, sometimes not.
    I sort of like this one. A classmate of my daughter's. Suggestions?

    D2H 85.1.4 f2.8 1/1600th, WB-pre on a Kodak gray card

    Nice light. Good color.

    How would it look cropped just below the hair. closer crop. very pretty girl.

    the subject is half the battle. you got it half right. just kidding. nice looking candid shot. she should be happy with it. many crop options on this one. Good job
     
  6. This shot is VERY WELL lite....
    I really like the look of this shot. In my mind (what there is) the only thing I can see that would make it better is you could move her eyes (not her head to the camera.
