outdoor night flash questions

  1. i will be going to and outdoor car show tomorrow. it will be dark a few hours after ive been there and i have a few questions about using flash on people there.

    1.any specific mode i should be shooting in?
    2. how much flash output should i use/range between.
    3. angle of the flash?
    and anything else you guys/gals might have to add.

    2. Let the flash figure that out. Use flash compensation according to your results.

    3. Use a bounce card, Lightsphere or other modifier if you can.
     
  3. thanks for the info John. unfortunatly it was a rain out so i wasnt able to go :frown: but i would still love to do night shots and this will help me out alot. thanks
