Just south of Marrakech is a rocky and sandy area that eventually (much further south) becomes the real Sahara. It is frighteningly barren and dry yet supports occasional villages - and evidently sheep.

I like it. The dark area at the bottom of the picture and the diagonal line near the top frame the subjects, and the white road leads the eye to the traveler. There's such a great feeling of emptyness. Well done!

Tension, everywhere--diagonal lines, the lone traveler in blue, the zig-zag "road", the mystery of what lies beyond the hill. The dark ground in the foreground may be a bit too much.
