Outside the Box #1

Discussion in 'People' started by Joe Marques, May 26, 2005.

  1. I'm in a bit of a rut taking the "same old portraits" with "the same old set up" my "same young home-grown model". :)  While I certainly NEED some model variation - I can also help my own cause by getting out of the rut with some "outside the box" shots. I started tonight by taking down my large softbox and using - for the very first time - my chimera strip box (12"x36").

This has a fair amount of PS post-work to soften the whole pic - I think it works with the contrast and "delicate" shadows. I numbered this shot because this is my first of many fresh ideas - I gotta get oughta the rut! :)

Here are a few more I processed later (edited this post) - these poses are more in line with the lighting. The first, in restrospect, is a bit odd for the low key light. :)

Joe, that first shot is absolutely brilliant.

Great model (very pretty too), great lighting, great sharpness and I love the colours.

    I am very jealous!!

    Excellent work.
