C&C please. I'm here to learn like the rest of you.
It is a pleasing shot but could have been improved with a different flash position. Having the woman's back lit up but not her face did not help this shot. It appears that this was lit with two flashes, one far left of camera and one far right. This gives the image a strange look. My suggestion would be to move both flashes closer to the camera position with one as the main and the other as fill at about 1 to 2 stop under the main. You handled the background quite well but maybe just a tad more exposure would have been even better. Thanks for sharing this image.
gordon has give you some great advice... and he is a master educator about such issues
one thing from me...
i know this was an UNrehearsed shot
but.... i wish there were no purse over her shoulders or sunglasses in his back pocket

Thank you so much for the critique so far. I didn't even realize they had on so many distracting accessories until you said something. I will write this down on my notes when I do this again.
