Owl and baby

I heard from somebody at work that there was this owl nesting in a nearby forest preserve. So I went this weekend looking for it and got a few shots. There were two owlets too, but I was able to see only one, when he peeked up for a brief moment.

I am not able to figure out if it is the Long Eared Owl or the Great Horned Owl, they both look very similar. I'll do some more research
