Painterly look

  1. Been rainy, windy with tornado watches for the last few days so looking around for something to do - found this sunset sky photo and I played with the art history brush for a painterly effect - do you think it works? Have some pretty spectacular sunsets this time of year.

I like both images - each has its own charm.

    Very best wishes

  4. Nice..... like the way you framed it too. Wonder what it would look like if the boat dock were a bit more defined..??
  5. Good question, Mike. However, I think it may be too far away to make much difference - in fact, should probably have eliminated the "blob" completely for this "style" of painting. Thanks for commenting - ideas keep the creative juices bubbling!
