Hi all,

I've been debating whether or not I should try to do this, but finally decided...what the heck, why not try. Honestly, I'm not too sure what the rules are except to try and take a picture worthy of posting at least once a day.

Unfortunately, I'm still in school right now, and still super busy. But if no one else minds, I want to give myself the liberty of posting a "newly edited" picture a day instead of one just taken that day. So if I took a lot of shots last week, but just post processed one it today, then I'll still count it as today's "new" photo. Hope no one else minds the flexibility...sometimes going out to take a new unique photo that day will be too hard :frown: But of course I'll do my best to avoid that too...

Your work is beautiful, I really like your eye in both the portrait and the flowers. :smile: (I've also been secretly lusting after your 50/1.2 ..... sigh, but this is not the time for me).

I understand what you're saying about the processing. Having just had #2 in April (and having just moved to this house 4mos before in Nov) and chasing a 3yr old about and keeping 4 working-bred dogs exercised .....there are plenty of days that I shoot what I consider "forced photos" and it really bothers me. One thing I will say, this project has really opened my eyes to all the opportunities around for photos. :smile: Jani especially is fantastic at capturing the mundane in a beautiful way. :smile:

There have been days I've thought of doing exactly what you speak of, processing a photo from a previous day, as with the processing, it is a new work.

Thanks for the welcome and compliments, Gretchen :smile: I really enjoy looking at everyone's work in these threads...pushing the limits of creativity!

I will try my hardest to take a new, unique photo everyday. I think I wanted to add the option of processing a new photo only because I don't want to miss posting too much, and get into a rut where I just want to give up the whole thing. But, I'm not going to cheat and purposely wait to process photos on another day either! :smile:

Definitely looking forward to joining all of you in this...!

Thanks, Gretchen. The entire pregnancy was actually very difficult for my friends - the mom had health problems during the pregnancy, and they were afraid the baby was going to come out with complications, or worse...thank God everything is fine now :smile:

Here are the photos for today. These were not taken today, but I actually did take another photo today, but it was of a co-worker who I'm not too sure if she is comfortable with her picture put up on the web.
