What kind of clandestine code is that for, Paul? :? And, if you were armed with two lenses, why did you only post shots taken with one? These are really crisp and nice compositions. The 1st one looks a teense pale to me, but that could very well be the way it looked.

  3. You were prolific in the park Paul. I like the one of the young lady best. All are sharp, well saturated and well taken.

    Paul,

It would be hard for you to abuse the Cafe just by posting pictures that you enjoyed taking and want to share. That's why we are here. If folks don't want (or don't have the time) to look at every one, that doesn't mean that the rest of us can't enjoy them.

As to the fact that screw lenses focus when the AF-S variety don't, that is weird. Makes you think that the AF control loop might be a bit unstable at the closed loop frequency of the CAM2000 / AF-S combination (a little over / undershoot perhaps??). Hmmm.

  11. I want to see 'em, but all I get is tiny little icons.

    What's happening?

  13. Ha, mystery solved.

Thanks, mate, I'll look in later.

PS: good luck with the transfer.

  14. I've seen 'em now and they were worth waiting for.

The first one is my favourite, lovely colours showing a tranquil scene.
