Part two of Latest Model Shoot D2X

Like promised here is a few more photo's of the last photoshoot on the beach with my D2X and a nice model. Any comments, advice, critique or remarks are welcome with explanation so i can improve myself. Thanks in advance for your time.

Nice series.

The first shot looks overprocessed. Her skin has that unnatural plastic look.

The others have great lighting and nice skin tones.

Number 4 is my favorite and as Mitch said the first one looks unnatural. Would it be possible to see the shot before it was pp'd.

The first photo was bit OOF as you can see from the hair so i made it look plastic. And sharpened the eyes and added some grain. But yes you are totally right about the barbie or plastic look.

Thanks both for the nice comments. The only curve i understand is my own learning curve but it can't be uploaded to nikon capture!

Absolutely LOVE the last one. That is a fantastic silhouette shot!

I like the silouettes , # 7 would be better without the biki strings ,# 6 could benefit from a little cropping from the bottom .

Have you ever seen Chip Springers stuff on the retouching forum on DPR.. If not look for his paint with and and his illustrator tutorials and images.

He is an ace.

The last one is poster material. Nice images but of course #1 is a little far out.

The model was very happy with the shots. And she wants a new shoot out soon if the weather is fine again.

I love #4 and #5. The first I think was a little over processed (yes I know its been said ) And the sitting one I think would be better perhaps if you tilted her back and arched her back. With her stomach (although not being fat etc) rolled with her crunched forward like that, it isn't very complimentary Also make the models look good

#1 - Plastic. Might want to lighten up on the processing, looks very unnatural.

#2 - Clean background but the pose and her expression don't do much for me.

#3 - Maybe tuck her knees up or something to hide her tummy next time. Regardless of how in shape she is, folds are unavoidable due to certain poses.

#4 - Great shot. Feels like she's really letting loose. Have her do more of that

#5 - The side lighting is too harsh. Like the background though.

#6 - Very nice. Try punching the colors a tad. Good pose.

#7 - Another great shot. Excellent way to portray her form.

Got some good stuff working for you. Keep it up.

I hope to get some nice weather to get her out on the beach again. And get to work with some new different shots.

I hope to learn more about framing and things like that.
