Is there an easy way to password protect files or folders in Windows 10 Home. I know there's supposed to be something in the Pro version. But is there an easy way to password protect stuff in the home version?

Thanks

There is no feature built into Windows 10 Pro (or other versions) that does that, that information is incorrect. (Although there is a way of protecting entire partitions/disks).

There is a horrible method based on using batch files which doesn't look at all a good idea. Easy to lose all your data.

You can hide the files. But all the person looking for them has to do is unhide them.

The method I recommend is using WinZip or 7-Zip or another file compression program, and strongly encrypt the files. I do this when needed.
