This was last night's supper, which I prepared using my modifications of the recipe published in the March 2013 edition of Food and Wine magazine. The sauce is a favorite of mine because it's got the meat and tomatoes but, unlike other similar sauces, is so "clean." (Sorry that I can't explain what I mean by that.)

The lamp lit the overall scene and the reflector. The reflector added the bright tones to the fork and spoon and brightened areas of the subject not directly lit by the lamp. The fork wouldn't remain in place, so I added a tiny amount of Museum Wax to the bottom of it and stuck the fork to the plate. The flashlight backlit the sage leaf. Seven focus-bracketed images were stacked in Helicon Focus at its default settings.
