Leigh, that is a darling shot of your son Benjamin. Now that guy hiding in the bushes posing as a photographer, I don't know about that one. For one thing he has way too much equipment and isn't fooling anyone that he is a legitimate photographer. Actually he's kind of cute when he takes his hat off. Good captures all.

Nice shots again. But could you crop little bit of the top of the first shot. The color on the right side above the cap is distracting my eye to it. It is adorable capture. But for some reason my eye get distracted by the little bit of dark blue.

Oh on the last photo's i miss something like a NIKON CAFE shirt. Sometimes i feel that i am heavily packed with my camera gear. But when i see you guys sometimes lurking around with all your gear then i am just carring a simple bag.

Good shots of Benjamin and Patrick!

Very nice snaps of the family, Leigh. Benjamin looks as though he is very content with the beverage of his choice. The DOF and the highlight in his left eye are very nice. Now Patrick....well, the portrait is indicative of a man who looks as though he is tolerating his picture being taken while anticipating his dash away to play with his camera stuff.....OH WAIT.....that's what he did and now his down by the water setting up for another of his wonderful captures. All teasing aside, the snaps are very nice and is great to see you all out as a family enjoying quality time together.

Looks like Patrick had a good time..
Yeah, he did...and hardly complained at all having to push the boys up a gravel hill in the double stroller!

Nice family Leigh. By the way, is that poison ivy next to Patrick on the last shot? Is he breaking out yet?
Thanks Rich, I'm hoping it wasnt' poison ivy....it didn't look like what I know it to be....i'm terribly allergic and i haven't been itching so i'm guessing it wasn't (we all brushed by it).

Thanks Vince, I tried cropping the top, but I just couldn't get it right...of course it was rushing to get it done so I could fix the kids their dinner...maybe I'll go back today and see what I can do.
As to Patrick needing a Nikon Cafe shirt, his was in the laundry yesterday! Can't have everything I suppose...He had a Cafe hat in the car, but forgot bring it along with us. maybe next time. Thanks for looking.

They boys were both very content yesterday. As were in the mountains a bit, the temps were somewhat cooler so it was rather pleasant.

Patrick was doing exactly that...."tolerating" me taking his picture....he was probably thinking..."you can take my picture anywhere....let's get a move on!". It was such a nice time we spent together and I always enjoy sharing this with you all. Again, thanks for looking.

It's good to see the guys! Benjamin seems to be saying "I want a D2x too!" ;)

Your 'snapshots' will probably last in the family album longer than the photos Patrick made with the huge rig!

Thanks again everyone. These will definitely go in the family album! I just love it when we have a day to go do something as a family. Seems that in this hustle-bustle world there's always something that keeps us too busy for anything but the important stuff....But yesterday we made time for family and I'm glad we did...Thanks for letting me share a little of our time with you.
