I recently acquired this PC Nikkor 35/2.8 and did a few test shots. All hand held. A tripod would help, but I did not feel like lugging it with me. This lens likes to be kept level. And I noticed distance between the lens and subject helps a lot also. The film is also new for me Kodak Profoto XL 100.

Nikon FM3A and PC Nikkor 35/2.8.

4. Too much PC. Looks like something from Beetlejuice.

Steve, the FM3A with winder has been my 35mm rig of choice lately. I now use the E3 type focusing screen in it. It helps line my shots up.
