Hepatica!!!!
Are you referring to #4? I'm confident that is rue anemone. Here are some hepatica:

The dark leaves packed in tightly behind the blossom are a distinguishing characteristic of hepatica, not present on the anemone.

Nicely done, sir.
Thank you very much.

Beautiful series, Jim!
Thanks, Dossy.

Fine series Jim. I like the Wood Anemone. I haven't found them around here.

Beautiful work, Jim.

I've not been able to prowl the woods for the past couple of weeks, but at least I can enjoy your images -- Thank You

Thanks, Bob. Sorry to hear that you are incapacitated, but I trust you'll be out and about soon. I've missed your wildflower photos.

Fine series Jim. I like the Wood Anemone. I haven't found them around here.
Thanks, Mike. My wife has to re-identify them for me annually .

Wonderful set!

I especially like the Rue Anenome!
Thanks, Karen. There were lots of those where I was walking today.
