Peonies

    Peonies make for great splashes of color in the yard, but they don’t hold up well to wind and rain. I was lucky enough to find a few that survived our weekend storms. The burgundy ones didn’t make it, but some reds, pinks, and whites did. This was one of my favorites.

    Yes, they are so lovely...and they smell nice too! You did well here....held the whites and everything! :D

    Thanks for looking Leigh. I was happy to just get something before they all fell apart.

    A monster flower for sure. I remember my grandmother had many of these and they bloomed just in time for Memorial day.
