Peonies

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by steveking, Jul 19, 2007.

  1. Hi,

There is a fantastic Peonie Garden at the University of Michigan Arboretum by central campus. I've made it a habit of going there somewhat often and shooting pictures of them while they're in bloom. I hope you like the latest installment.

I think I really need a macro lens now.

OK, not a Peonie but still at the garden.

Beautiful Steve. They just don't last long enough for me -- ours have been done blooming for more than a month.

  4. Beautiful!! Our peonies peaked last month. I especially like the red one.

  5. Thanks! I especially liked the red one, I took probably 6-8 pictures of it without thinking about it since it really caught my eye. That Peonie Garden must have about 25-30 or more different beds planted, it's very beautiful to behold when most are in bloom.
