I've had that look at a bridge table. Excellent lighting and interesting processing. Nice stuff.

Tasnim: any experience with the DxO film pack? I wonder if it would produce simliar results as yours with the grain and color, etc. Thanks for sharing.

    Brian,

Sorry, but I have not used that software. However, my treatment is very
    rudimentary.

    1: Duplicate layer
2: in ps, go to render and choose fibers
3:blend mode overlay or soft light
    4: add gaussian noise.

steps 2,3,4 are seasoned to taste. The same steps could be used to
    produce an aged look pic.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Thanks for looking.

    I like the grain in these , especially # 2 .

  9. These are very nicely done. I really like #2, the lighting and the processing create the proper mood.

    Biggs,

Glad you liked the pics. I am not a portrait or b/w man myself, but am
    trying to improve.

    Regards.

    Jimmy,

Appreciate you looking and your kind words. I showed pic #2 ( before ps was applied ) to the person concerned and she thought the lighting was was too
    low!!

    Take Care.
